Julian Nadeau is a Staff Software Developer at Stripe. His experience with software development and platform-level engineering is extensive and varied. He’s worked for years in the field with experience in numerous types of software development in both startup environments and in a large organization.
He has worked on and continuously improved many software projects during his career, as well as founding and running a Google-sponsored not-for-profit program to teach children to code, has enabled me to adjust to new environments and roles quickly.
Notable highlights include being a multi-time international public speaker at various conferences and previously was a guest lecturer at Carleton University. Julian has also worked on large open source projects such as Ruby’s Bundler where he improved boot-time by over 60% and contributed large improvements to error handling which affected developers worldwide.
